I don't know why but i really thought i would be able to get an appointment sooner, or even just walk in. My local court is booking for the middle of July now, luckily i got a cancellation for 24th June which seems ages away. I had hyped myself up to doing this and now another 4 1/2 week wait.

Hi Hammy,

Unfortunately the courts are extremely busy and under a great deal of pressure with Bankruptcy cases at the moment which is why the insolvency service are in talks regarding removing the courts from the procedure of Bankruptcy and either submitting the SOA electronically or via post to a centralized insolvency unit to make the Bankruptcy order and then refer the case to the local office which should speed up the process somewhat and take the pressure from the courts.
