Hi

Just one last question before my court date. What do I need to take with me on Thursday apart from 3 copies of my forms and the fee? Do I need to take my bank statements and wage slips etc?

Also my wife read through my forms and pointed out that we split for 2 months or so last year but I did not put this in section 1.12 where it asks "Are you, or in the last 5 years have you been, involved in proceedings for divorce or separation?" should I have listed the slipt last year on the forms?

Thank you for all your help, feeling really nervous now

Matt

all you will need is the 3 copies of the forms and the fee, nothing else
the question on the forms refers to legal separations and divorce proceedings, a short term split like the one you refer to is not needed to be listed

I presented my forms at Croydon court this morning, was there a total of 2 hours. There were 4 of us altogether. We were all taken to see the judge at the same time and this was in a court room. The judge just went through each of our forms and asked if we sought advice, and then after reminding us of the implications of br she asked each of us if we still wanted to be declared bankrupt. Now I'm just waiting on my call from the OR. It feels as though a huge weight has been lifted and I wish I had done it sooner!

Thank you everyone who has helped answer all my questions

Matt,

As has already been said, welcome to a debt free life - the time will go by faster than you realise.

Good luck to you and post as necessary when you have a question or to share your situation.

Richard
