Hi All,

My wife and I filed for Bankruptcy yesterday morning and went to court today. Arrived at 9am and was called at 930am by the clerk, to our surprise that was it!! - no judge to see! we were simply told to expect a call from the OR.
My wife was dumbstruck and we walked out of the building in a daze, still finding it hard to accept that all our unsecured debt has gone.

So, almost there - just very apprehensive about when and what the OR will say to us. It's so annoying when the phone rings and it's a wretched telesales person - aaahhhh

Many thanks to all at Riviva UK for helping us through this terrible time.

Oh yeah, when going to court make sure you don't have a knife of any kind in your pocket! - I had my fishing knife and almost had a heart attack when security found it! LOL

Well done John and Maria,

I am so pleased that it went well for you and that Reviva UK worked well for you.

Now you can start to build for your future and do not worry about the OR either!

My best regards, Richard

Thanks!

Just got off the phone with the clerk and have arranged a telephone interview on March 2nd at 10am. Was told it could last an hour! Maria's is on the 3rd.

She will also write to lloydsTsb and ask then not to freeze Maria's wages on Monday - phew!!!

I have dreamed of the day that I would be free from debt, now it is here - I can't believe it!

This website, the community, and all the experts here are a life line to those who for whatever reason find themselves in a dead end situation.
