Ok thanks. Feel like I'm being a right pain today. Just have so much to ask. Are they likely to phone my dad to confirm rent that I pay. Am worried as obv he doesn't know an we have a strained relationship at the best of times. I'd be mortifed if he knew
If you father is your landlord then sometimes the OR does contact them. This is to check that you are up to date on the rental payments and they don't need to be included in the BR.
In my case I provided a copy of the rental agreement to the OR and they could see from my bank statements that I was up to date.
Don't worry about asking a lot of questions. A lot of people on this board have been through the BR process and we all know how stressful and nerve-wrecking it can be
