hello i was made bankruptcy in November last year. i have now received a letter from MBNA telling me they are aware of my insolvency but i still owe them the balance served under the section 87(1) act? what do i do? surely this balance like all others should be absorbed in my bankruptcy?

Forward the letter to the OR explaining the circumstances. The OR will contact MBNA and set them straight.

It's nothing to worry about, just MBNA trying it on.

Hi

Just to re-iterate nothing to worry about.

We all receive mail from creditors during and even after discharge.

As gettingoutofdebt has said, pass the correspondence to the ORs office - they will deal.

Do not worry Richard
