hello there,
i was discharged from my bankruptcy in january 10 and i have just checked my credit file to see how it looks, there are a couple accounts on there still which i would like to ask some quesions

capital one is coming up as satisfied in the balance column but in the status column it is still saying default, do i need to write to them to get it changed to satisfied or is the report correct?

there is another account which says the same but its for halifax card services, i never had a card from the halifax so who do they own that it might be?

many thanks
andy

Hi Andy

Can't assist you with the Capital One issue, but Halifax/HBOS own quite a few card issuers.

Amongst others they issue cards on behalf of AA, some GE Capital, some Intelligent Finance, Sainsburys & Marbles

Hope that helps
