My husband is due to start a new job next week and after his probationary period, he will receive a car allowance of around £9k. we were declared bankrupt in sept 2010, but im rather confused as to how this new job will affect our situation. will my husband be able to get a car for work as we know our credit rating is non existant and also it is illegal to obtain credit over £500 until we are discharged? HELP, ADVICE NEEDED! Thank you

Hi and welcome.

I would speak to the OR and put them in the picture and take advise from them.

Buckle your seat belt Dorothy, 'cos Kansas is going bye bye.

No its illegal to obtain credit over £500 without informing them you are BR.

your husbands company may be a large company who lease lots of cars, no sales rep will want to turn away sensible business. talk to people.
