Can you give me the reference in bankruptcy law that states the above information re windfalls received after discharge please?

Hi Chrisd2314

I am not aware of there being a rule of law about windfalls ATFER discharge from Bankruptcy suffice it to say that on discharge (unless stated) no property of the debtor vests with the Receiver.

Wouldn't it depend upon when the inheritance was due, rather than when it was received?

yes it would the OP poster needs to give a bit more information re exactly what the windfall was and the circumstances surrounding it
