Hi Angela,

It's your choice, but you really don't need to notify them as the OR will do that.

As Viki says, just ignore them. After all they can do nothing to you now.

Ascend may you find no resistance
Know that you made such a difference
All you leave behind will live to the end
The cycle of suffering goes on
But memories of you stay strong
Someday I too will fly and find you again

I copied all my letters and emailed them to my trustee.

Even some months in to BR the odd creditor was still trying to contact me.
Copying my letters and emailing them built up a solid rapport with my trustee, and allowed them to issue follow up letters to stop some creditors chasing me.

I hope it all goes well.

I did and they were all nice about it. I went bankrupt on the 2nd of May and I am told the OR is just starting to inform them now.

Notice the attitude change of debt collection agencys from when you tell them no your not going to pay and then you tell them.. mention BR and they are nice as pie. I guess because they cant be anything else really.

Glad it all went well.
I had a few creditors being a bit ''funny', but once like you say, you mention BR they usually go v quiet.
The odd one has asked for my petition number, but you can always tell them to look it up for themselves.
Likewise, my trustee told me to direct all phone calls to them as well.

Phone only really rings now for the dreaded PPI cold callers! ;-)
