I'm expecting my first call from the OR early next week as I was made BR last week.
What should I expect from this first call?
I hope I don't have to wait too long to have the full interview as I'd rather get it over with. What do they ask during this interview, is it information such as, how did you get into debt, what did I spend the money on, expanding on reasons for not be able to pay debts which I put in SOA. What else do they ask?
I can't really remember exactly what I spent the money on as it was between 3 - 6 years ago. The most recent debts were consolidation loans for other cc's and loans. |

Hi the reasons for the call are as you suspect.
If you are not self employed this call IS your interview.

Thanks John,
I am not self employed. On the letter they gave me in court it says the first phone call should last 5 - 10 minutes.

Hi if have you not spoken to anyone from the OR's office as yet, then the 1st call will be to agree a date and time for the full telephone interview.
Even the full one's can be over in 15 minutes if the case is straightforward.

If you have a look at my blog I have written about my OR interviews - hopefully it might give you an idea what happens, and maybe put your mind at rest.

I was sick with nerves before my interview but there really wasn't any need to be. The examiner was fine - business like, but pleasant.
Good luck with yours x
