Hi Sharron,
Welcome when you say debit card which do you mean. A basic cash card like electron.
Technically its up to the bank to let you have one as its within there own criteria.
Each offer different things and ask different questions, is it just so that you can do your shopping without having to take cash with you.
If it is you could try Coop Cashminder.
I dont know if i helped at all.
Thanks
Jo

Hi
I read a post on here only last week that one member had been informed by Barclays that commencing 18/08/2008 their basic cash account included a debit card.

I've just looked on the Barclays website and it now says that if you have their Cashcard Account you now get the choice of a Connect card or a cashcard.

Tomorrow is a mystery, yesterday is history, today is the present, a gift to make the most of.

It's just a shame they don't give you internet banking as well!

And you Jo - I can't believe how quickly this weekend has gone!

The place will fall apart!!!

Have a great time on holiday - you really deserve it.

We went away to Dorset for 2 weeks and I don't feel like I've had a holiday - the apartment smelt of fish and drains, we had boy racers going past the window at all hours and we both had a really bad cold and felt too ill to do anything!

Oh poor you Skippy,

Never mind at least you have your family and your new found life again and thats the main thing. :)

I hope admin dont think im taking over, im only a newbie, i really want to go up to everyone on here and give you all a big hug and say "Dont worry everything will be ok" so the only way I can help now is by trying to give some advice back, albeit that I am only in my 3rd week since we went BR.

Take care
