WE HAVE JUST SENT BACK KEYS TO OUR HOUSE TO THE HALIFAX. ALL I WANTED TO KNOW WAS, I HAVE MY WAGES PAID INTO HALIFAX BANK ACCOUNT AS DOES MY WIFE, WITH US SENDING BACK THE KEYS TO THE HOUSE WILL THEY KEEP OUR WAGES AS WE HAVE DEFAULTED ON MORTGAGE WITH THEM, BUT STILL BANK WITH THEM, NOT IN BOTHER AT THE HALIFAX BANK, BUT HAVE HAD MAJOR ARREARS ON MORTGAGE, CAN THEY KEEP OUR WAGES OR IS IT BEST TO MOVE ASAP. THANKS ANY HELP APPRECIATED. |

Hi Russ
If i were you i would put your wages into another bank just in case, the banks have clauses like our old lloyds one that said if we did not pay a debt then part of our agreement would be to take any funds from our main account to go towards and other arrears etc. I may be wrong but just to be on the safe side it may be a better option for you. Have you considered the Coop cashminder account to use, eiether way that is what i would do, if im wrong i dare say someone will correct me. Take care
