Just wanted to update everyone and share our experiences. My wife and I finally had our court date yesterday (3 weeks wait). It was the most nerve wracking thing I have ever done in my life until we actually got in the room with the judge. He was extremely understanding and so kind. He assured us we were doing the right thing and it was so nice to hear that, especially from him. We couldn't thank him enough as we left the room. It only took about 10 minutes, he asked us some questions about what had happened and plans for the future. Did I mention how nice he was?? Afterwards we went with a clerk to a room where he rang the ORs office and we each had to speak to them. Just a few questions about bank accounts and stuff. By this time we were so relieved we felt like collapsing! I suppose we were in the room about an hour and a half. It was a very strange feeling walking out of there. We're already on the insolvency register! Just the OR now and then we're free. Thanks to everyone that has helped and advised us so far. Thought we'd share our experiences, sorry it's long!!
Glad it went so well for you today and nice to hear the Judge was so kind. Hopefully when we go through it next week we will get a good one too. Well done for today Tracy
Thats good news. It soon came round though and was worth the wait.
Good luck with the interview and dont forget to..........
Keep us posted.
