This happened by pure fluke - I rang the OR office just to say that put a note on my file to speak to me after 2.30 to arrange an interview as I would be at work and couldnt speak freely. They put me through to the dept, as it happened I got put through to my examiner lol. She did it there and then and arranged the interview for Tues 28th Oct at 11am while I am on hols but at least I can get the kids looked after with friends who I am going with and will be able to enjoy the rest of the week, lol.
She seems very nice, told her I didnt have credit card statements only bank statements as I shredded everything when IVA approved, she said that was fine and bank statements were more than enough. She just said to me to go through creditors and pencil in what I spent the debt on and when I last bought on credit which in the main part was 2006, so i should be okay.
I wont be able to report back til after my hols thou, sorry x
I am really happy that I have a date now. |

HI GT,
Really glad you have a date - it's the day before mine and I will also be on holiday - how strange, and also Birmingham - how spooky!!!
I am still terrified but you sound better than I feel!

Thanks Jayne and Jo
Jayne - I feel really positive today, just found a house (I hope) filled out the application and fingers crossed. Agent was fab about BR said that I would be the preferable tenant as it would be long term and obviously I have no crippling debt payments lol. Mom is gonna be guarantor. They have no intention of selling the house if get a good tenant (thank god). Its 1/2 min walk to daughter school, its in a state at the moment but is being gutted and new bathroom, carpets, decoration, garden tidied etc ready for me I hope. Fingers crossed - things are looking up (i hope).
thanks again x |

Update on the house - the agents have rec'd 2 applicants, so landlord will decide, we were shown round by the boss of the agents so landlord will ask his opinion he said he would recommend me as it would be a long term let. I know i'm BR but i have a good job working in the NHS for the last 11 years, can more than cover the rent, have no other credit commitments and my mom will be a guarantor, I cannot do much more than just wait - should hear tommorrow will keep you posted. take care x |

Hi GT
Thats a shame, never mind there are still loads out there, go for it.
You get it all sorted in the long run.
