I have just received an email from Tuxedo prepaid cards and they now accept cheques. You have to print off a payment slip from their website and send the cheque to them. There is a fee involved but I think it is a lot cheaper than other outlets that provide the same service. They charge only £10 for any cheque up to a £1000 and the maximum is £30 for any cheque between £2000 and £3000.

I think this is ideal for anyone who has difficulty in obtaining a bank account and receives cheques.
