I need some advice I went bankrupt about five years ago now am back in same boat again cant see away out my question is my wife is in debt around £10.000 what is paid thru my wages as she doesn,t earn nothing except childrens tax credits thats all so everything comes out of my salary am in debt around £28000 can we file a joint bankruptcy or do we have to pay £500 each to file bankruptcy

Hi Ian,

Regrettably, you will each have to pay the £495 court fee if you both wish to go bankrupt.
