Can someone give me a cast iron assurance that ALL debts (other than fraud and student loans, I know) are covered by a bankruptcy order REGARDLESS of whether they appear on the petition?

I am saying this because my wife was a bit disorganised in keeping proper records of what she owed and to whom and so her petition was incomplete. Most of the info was there but not all. The OR do not seem to have questioned it too much and, as far as I know, the point of advertising a bankruptcy (e.g. in the Gazette) is so that any creditors are meant to check to see if anyone who owes them money is on the list of bankrupts.

Is this definitely the case?

Can creditors resurface later and say, oh, we didn't know she went bankrupt and we are still owed?

Hi Pix1,

If additional creditors crawl out of the woodwork post-BR, just pass the details straight to the OR who sill include them in the BR.
