Hi Help BR

I wanted to say GOOD LUCK for today. You should be there now and getting ready but do let us know how it all goes and when you get back you would have joined a rather elite Club.

So saying that Welcome to it.:-)

Good Luck. A week today and I will be in the same boat. Let us all know how it goes. It will hopefully give us all a little reassurance.

Hi all

All done and dusted and declared BR at 12:10 today. Now just need to wait for my call for interview. I am worried that they will close my new bank account but suppose I will just have to wait and see. I don¡¦t owe that bank anything and it¡¦s a basic account so fingers crossed!

I handed my forms (x3) and money in at 10.30 the man was very helpful and really friendly, then saw the judge at 12.10 and I was out within two minutes. Went back to the office where I handed my forms in and received a stamped completed set of forms back with my reference number.

New fresh start for me now ļ

Well done and welcome to life on the other side. Your payments will depend on how much your disposable income is and be 50-70% of that. Make sure you use up all your essential expenditure allowances. See this link from the Insolvency Service website:

http://www.insolvency.gov.uk/DocumentLibrary/Policy/Excel/Household%20Expenditur.xls

If needed, you can always revise your I&E provided it fits in with the guidelines.

The bank account depends on who it is. Nationwide or Coop are safe but as far as I know all others are subject to closure.

RBS have assured me 3 or 4 times that they will keep my Basic Account open and so far so good.

Hey Leakie

Glad your OR meeting went well!

Out of interest, what sort of things did they ask, and how come yours was a face to face?

I am still waiting for mine, and to be honest I am dreading it!!!
