I've been served with a petition the case will go to the high court next Friday. Do I have to attend? I am not contesting it - or can I tell them I am not attending and wait for the meeting/call about setting up payments new bank accounts etc.

Hi Dianah and welcome to the forum.

If you do not intend to contest, then there is no reason to attend. You will however be required to attend an interview with the Official Receiver once you have been declared BR.
