This is marks wife sharon...
well all i can say is we was on a up this afternoon... on advice n support given today...
mark is actually not in at the minute... so dosent even no im posting this...
just to keep use informed... he tried to ring the trustee at tea time today... to see when it would be possible & when we could go through... with the cash... then to get our keys back!!!
trustees clarke whos dealing with all... is busy but will ring u back... soon as she can!!! (waited since yesterday morning)
i feel sick and have a really bad feeling... im hoping no news is good news...
just feel like every next move the trustee ever made... in the past... was there next steps into doing wot they are able!!!
i wud hate to think... that they will sell our family home... when weve came this far...
we have the cash in full and want to pay them... to get our lives back & be happy again...

I have just recieved an email from the trustee while i was out picking my kids from school.
She says she has sold my home for 72 K.
She did'nt even ring me, she sent it by email at four thirty this after noon.
she knew that i was trying to raise the money, i rang the trustee's clerk to see if i could got through and see them both yesterday at about 12 oclock.I have got full amount that they have asked for. and now that i have they have sold it!
I cant belive it!
What should i do ?
The email she sent reads as though the case is now closed, it asks me where i want the cheque paying in to?

Hi Mark
if you have not already done so call the trustee's office and tell them that you have had the funds available to pay in full since your request for a meeting which you made when you rang through at 12 yesterday. This was the purpose of your call and the proposed meeting.
If they do not answer take the cheque directly to their offices, it just may not be too late.
By saying on their email to you that it has been sold today may mean they have advised the cash buyer that they can buy the property but you may still have a chance of reversing this.

I will call them first thing.
I never got back in the house till seven tonight and that it when i checked my email.
Cant belive she never even called me, she said yesterday that she would speak to the trustee and ring me back asap, insted she has sent an email at 16.30, the exact time she leaves the office.
I will call her at nine in the morning and ask to go and drop the full amount off, as you may know i only asked if they could drop the price even i little so i could get the mortgage up tp date too.
Do you think it might be a shock tactic to get me to pay up the full amount?
I will call first thing and post the out come, thanks for you help John.

Hi Mark
it's quite possible, judging by the way this particular trustee's office has been handling your case, that it is indeed just a strategy to make you panic, but we can't be sure.
One thing you cannot afford to do at this stage is to suggest such a thing to them.
It may even serve you well to act as if you had not even read the email just turn up with the funds in full and see what happens.
If you are successful then great.
The "tactic" possibility should then be kept up your sleeve to use as ammunition later.

PS...forgot to send through my direct email yesterday so will do so when back in the office later today.

I am going to ring them as soon as the office opens and just say can i come straight through and pay the money off in full, I will not even mention the email and see what they say.
Every thing has been done by phone before, so i cant understand why they should email me like that last night.
She knew i was waiting for her to phone me back.
I will update soon as i have spoke to her.

I would just love to name and shame these people, on forums, newspapers, anywhere where everyone would know what they do to people. In my opinion they are worse than bailiffs,
You should tell this trustee just to put the ##### up her/him that you have posted your case on many forums and have named them and how unreasonable they have been towards. Give them some free publicity.
That would awesome! I don't know if were allowed to by law to do this but will find out then we can start putting names and places on the forums.
Stick to your guns, and don't back down, god if I was in your position again I now know better what I really would do.

I feel absalutley terrible this morning... we had another restless night... Ifeel sick...
Ive had a bad feeling since monday,,, when mark rang there office... on them saying the trustee,s clark was off on the sick... mark waited till teatime for the trustee him self, to ring back... he rang them back... to be told the clarke would be back in the next day...
(in 4 & half years. iv spoke to the trustee, only 1ns... n that was when i was 1st made bankrupt. when i went to his office & told him... what i owned)
waited tuesday morning for the clarke to ring... mark rang her by lunch time... all he done & said was could he see the OR & TRUSTEE. did she think it possible for them to reduce the final settlement. as we were a little bit short... SHE SAID IT HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH THE OR... THE TRUSTEE WAS BUZY... SHE WUD PUT IT OVER TO THE MAN IN CHARGE & RING US BACK...
Waited all day tuesday... then all day yesterday... to recieve an email late last night... ?????????
(how can they do this... to us)???
(every order & further action they have made in the past, was done like this too) ???
LIKE THEY DO IT... THEN TELL US... ITS DONE...
THE POWER THESE PEOPLE HAVE IS SO UNREAL...

I have just rang the trustee's clerk to go through to give her the money,
I have been told she is not in till 12 and the trustee is off sick!
The girl who i spoke to said that she will call me back or i can ring her after 1300.
So i got my wife to call in her maidern name, the girl put her through, but then reviersed the call and said she's popped out.
I am going through now with the cheque, will let you know what happen's.
