i ve just had my house repo for a 10 ooo sercured loan that i was unable to keep up with repayments the morage was up to date ,i have some other dept to so im think of declaring my self bankrupt to clear my dad as i will have the morage as a dept to

Sorry to hear about the house especially as the mortgage was up to date. Bankruptcy is probably a good option in this case as your credit rating will be very poor anyway but this depends upon the amount of debt you have and your disposable income.

Have a look at Insolvency Helpline (http://www.insolvencyhelpline.co.uk/) as there is a lot of advice about IVA's, DMP's and the BR process. Also speak to a couple of Insolvency Practitioners, the CCCS (http://www.cccs.co.uk/) and your local CAB to get their advice. BR is a big step and not something that should be rushed into without checking your other options.
