I was declared BR on 14th of this month. Was expecting a telephone interview with the OR. I have now received a letter to go into their office on Tues for interview. the letter says that the interview will be approx 2-4 hours. Is this normal? I have no assets and am not in employment. My hubby owns a car which is worth approx £1100 Our business went bust last august and our house was reposessed in March this year..
Really cannot think why the interview would take that long
Any ideas???
A bit concerned as most on here say they have telephone interviews that take around 30 mins

Hi, generally when you have been in business shortly before the bankruptcy it is normal for an office interview to be scheduled. The reason for the office interview is not that they automatically assume that you have done anything wrong. Just that there will be more to discuss and going through invoices, accounts etc is easier in person.
