Hi all

I have got my credit report and have noticed that there are a few creditors missing from a previous address and also that whilst I was at that address and on the electoral role they don't have the details of me even though they have the details of me at my fathers house. They have under the linked addresses my previous address and thats as far as it goes.

Any advice please.

I wouldn't worry at all about certain creditors not being on your credit report. It is the responsibility of the individual creditor to contact a credit reference agency and have your details icluded.

Hi Storm,

As blackie says I wouldn't worry just use the information from your credit report to give as much information as possible, if there are some creditors on your credit file not in your SOA just let the OR know of these as soon as you can.

I recently order all 3 of my credit files and found that some of my creditors don't report to all 3 companies.

Tomorrow is a mystery, yesterday is history, today is the present, a gift to make the most of.

Hi Vicki

Thats where I got my credit report from too. My NatWest bank account is showing that I didn't default in 27 months, my old Halifax account shows the last 18 months that I had it was the same no defaults.

I rang them about not being able to get a bank account as I have been logged by CIFAS and they said it could be something simple like a wrong postcode. My details and previous address all match on my credit file to what I put on the application forms and the only thing I can think of is that they had the wrong postcode for my dads house as different companies use a different postcode, his postcode ends in 1NW but alot of companies use 0NW for some reason. I was told it could be this

It's all extra hassle though isn't it!
I am trying to disassociate myself from my husband with each of the credit ref companies. We have never had joint debts. So his credit will hopefully not take such a knock.
I did his credit check and discovered mistakes on that too! I am now writing to various companies to get them to correct his credit record. talk about a can of worms!
